Unbelievable but true: the former beauty idol is 91 years old. Ann’s parents split when she was young and she moved to New York with her mother and sister, where the girls attended various Catholic schools. Her talent was identified at an early age and she was already a seasoned radio performer, during her elementary school years.

Ann’s first role was on Broadway in Lillian Hellman’s Watch on the Rhine from 1941 until 1942. During her long, sparkling career, she had many famous movie and theatrical roles. She retired from acting and singing in 1985.
